The name Valasia, meaning ruby, fully complies with the philosophy of our venues, a venues of joy, happiness, and a harmonious connection of generations. The Iliou Petra Estate is located at the highest point of the Markopoulos area (Merenda location). An impressive olive grove with a complete view of Mesogeia surrounds it. It has three independent spaces (“Ilios,” “Petra,” and “Pyrgos”) that can accommodate up to 500 people and can be configured to fully meet the aesthetic and practical requirements of the most special day of your life.

The space has been carefully developed with complete respect for the natural landscape. At the same time, its diversity allows us to cater to different preferences and requirements. Wood and stone, playing with the hidden artistic lighting, develop a unique decoration to dress up your wedding.

“<strong>Pyrgos</strong>” is a place of unique aesthetics. Lying in the shadow of the stone tower, it fascinates both for the unique environment and meticulous attention to detail. Pyrgos can accommodate up to 500 people.

Behind the Mansion, “<strong>Helios</strong>” is a balcony in Mesogeia with a panoramic view, captivating both with its enchanting sunset and the twinkling lights in the distance of the horizon. Helios can host up to 250 people.

“<strong>Petra</strong>” has a more minimal aesthetic that combines the classic with the modern, leaving nature to impress with its unique beauty. The large bar and wooden seats blend harmoniously with the natural wood of the fence and the trees, and the waterfall with running water adds a wet element to the landscape. In contrast, quiet corners are created under the trees to host unique moments under the candlelight and with particular tones of artistic lighting. It can accommodate up to 350 people on the three levels of this space.

Candili

Your stay at <strong>Candili</strong> can be tailor made to meet any of your needs or interests, be they family holidays, weddings, creative courses or as a venues for your business seminar or retreat.

Candili makes a great base from which to enjoy the many beaches and walks in the area. Children can find lots to do in the safe and friendly environment and there are many tranquil spots in which to relax while wonderful home-cooked meals are prepared for you.

There are only 13 rooms so Candili never has too many people – just enough to have a lively social interaction if you want it but not enough to feel crowded.

The Blender Gallery exhibition space is distinguished for its minimal design. While the 8-meter bar – reception communicating with the bright atrium – an oasis of the gallery enhances the feeling that this is a contemporary yet welcoming space. The space covers 325 sm. However, for smaller events, we can adjust the room through movable wall.

The space fits 150-200 people seated or 500 people standing. The bright and contemporary space of the gallery meets all the requirements for the realisation of corporate events, product launches, educational seminars, and presentations. Basic equipment for speaker events, corporate meetings, and press conferences is available.

Private and Social Events
The venue is also ideal for private events, cocktail parties, formal dinners, and receptions. Each event hosted under the roof of Blender is unique. As the space is constantly “re-decorated” due to the monthly change of the art exhibition presented. Bouboulinas Mansion

<h3>Bouboulinas Mansion</h3>
Bouboulinas Mansion was built by a Mauritanian architect at the end of the 17th century. The plan of the house from above is that of the Greek letter Π. This shape, in Spetsiot architecture, was related to the importance of its owner. Most of the Spetsiot lords of the time had houses of this shape. The mansion consists of a ground floor with two floors above. An external stone staircase connects the front yard with the first floor, where the museum is housed. Visiting areas on the first floor consist of four large rooms.

The  Boumboulina’s Museum was founded in 1991 by her 4th generation’s offspring, Mr Philip Demertzis-Bouboulis, in his quest to save the mansion, which was then at risk of collapse. It is an essential historical element and a must-visit if you plan to organize something on the island of Spetses.

The visitor, during the tour, which lasts 40 minutes approx., will hear the story of the legendary captain, from her birth in Turkish prisons of Istanbul, her action against the liberation war of 1821, her supply and sacrifice for the homeland, and her unexpected and tragic ending.

They will see collections of guns, antique books, china, documents and letters of the Revolution, paintings and ship models, portraits and prints of the heroine, personal items, maps, embroidery, Byzantine icons, furniture and objects of the 17th-20th century, and the magnificent Florentine carved ceiling of the great hall.

On the museum’s exterior, a dedicated space can accommodate up to 180 people for dinner and 300 for a Concert, available for events such as music nights, festivals, lectures, etc. During the winter months, the museum remains closed due to repairs and maintenance. However, it remains open during the weekend of Shrove Monday and then daily from the 25th of March to the 28th of October, both Greek National Celebrations.
