Michael Cacoyannis Foundation: A Premier Cultural Centre in Athens
The Michael Cacoyannis Foundation (MCF) Cultural Centre is located at 206 Piraeus Street, in the heart of Athens’ cultural district. The building was completed in 2008 with support from the European Programme “Culture” and co-financed by the Greek Ministry of Culture and the EU. Architects Vasilis and Dimitris Sgoutas designed the Centre, which spans 6,810 square meters. Since October 2009, it hosts exhibitions, performances, conferences, and seminars. The modern infrastructure creates an inspiring space for art, education, and innovation.

The MCF Cultural Centre offers versatile spaces for all types of events. It includes a 330-seat amphitheatre, a 120-seat cinema, and a 68-seat multi-use black box hall, all with advanced audiovisual equipment.
