The Hellenic Motor Museum

Hellenic Motor Museum, where innovative architecture meets the history of the automobile, its technological evolution, and its route in the 20th century. Happily going through its 12th year of operation, the Museum is housed in a landmark building in the historic centre of Athens. This Capitol building is very close to the National Archaeological Museum. It opened its door to the public in March of 2011 and, as a cultural cell of the capital, offers visitors the opportunity of travelling through time and experience. The evolution of modern and classic car history is reflected in its unique exhibits. The spiral ramp that starts from the ground floor of the Capitol and ends at the entrance of the Museum on the 4th floor is architecturally inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s Guggenheim Museum in New York and gives its visitors a sense of perpetual movement. Hellenic Motor Museum is not only a unique meeting place presenting the history of the automobile but also a very welcoming place for corporate and social events. The view of the Acropolis and Lycabettus hill makes up a unique setting. Combined with its excellent facilities and multi-purpose spaces, the HMM gives a special touch to every gathering.
