Athens Flair designed around 1880-1889 by the Danish architect Theophil Edvard Freiherr von Hansen, the man who designed the so-called “Athenian Trilogy”, the National Library of Greece, the Academy of Greece and the National University of Greece has been, throughout its history, a pole of attraction for the artistic world of the past. Most importantly a huge personality of the Greek arts, Ellie Lambeti, who moved there during the German occupation in the 1940s and became her private residence of the famous Greek actress.

The Greek Ministry of Culture has designated this neoclassical masterpiece as a work of art, thanks to its architectural value and its prominent location at the corner of Delphon and Didotou streets in Kolonaki. It represents a typical example of neoclassical architecture, and the Ministry has protected it as a landmark.
